• How did I start : I started fishing when I got my first rod when I was 3 , I’m 29 now. I fished my first compititon when I was 13 where I finished 3rd overall.
• Biggest fish : giving the fact I fish a lot of match lakes my biggest weights are a build up of fish overall , my biggest river fish was a pike of somewhere between 10 and 15lb
• Favorite style :of course we all started out on the waggler, and have spend the last 25 years perfecting that. But if not that I would say the method feeder is in second place.
• Venues : if I had to choose a venue to fish for the rest of my life it would be canals. Stalking , pre baiting and then finally catching wild fish is a skill you never stop learning and improving.
• Targets for 2025 : in the new year I’m planning on fishing more compititons and refining my skills to place regularly. I also enjoy coaching in my spare time people who ask for jmhwlp in certain areas of their angling. It is very rewarding seeing someone you help implement something you showed them to improve their fishing experience.
